Banana Chocolate Marble Pancakes

Easy to make vegan breakfast marble pancakes made with whole-meal flour, banana and chocolate. I guarantee kids and grown-ups will love them.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 tablespoon coconut sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
  • 1 1/2 cups oat milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 1/2 cups whole meal flour
  • 1 tablespoon organic cacao powder

Method

  1. In a mixing bowl mash banana with sugar together. Add in vanilla and milk, mix until well combined. Add in baking powder and flour. Mix until combined and no lumps remain.
  2. Divide the mixture into two even amounts between separate bowls. Add cacao powder into one bowl and mix until well combined.
  3. Drop 1 tablespoon of the plain batter onto the pan over medium heat, following with the 1 tablespoon of the chocolate batter and do it again so you will have 2 tablespoons of each batter per pancake. When bubbles pop, flip the pancake over. Cook for another couple of minutes. Repeat with the remaining batter. Serve up with your favourite toppings and enjoy!
