Basic 3- Ingredient Crepes

Save this easy recipe for paper-thin crepes made with 3 ingredients only. You can serve them savoury or sweet they taste amazing with just about anything.

  • 1 cup full cream milk
  • 2 eggs
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • olive oil, for frying
  • toppings of your choice


  1. In a mixing bowl using a hand electric mixer beat milk and eggs together. Add in salt and half of a cup of the flour, beat until no lumps remain. Add in the rest of the flour and beat until the batter is runny and smooth.
  2. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-low heat. Pour a small amount of batter in the centre of the skillet, then quickly tilt it to all sides until it covers as much of the bottom as possible. Keep tilting until it won't spread out anymore. Cook for about 1 minute until the bottom is brown, then flip over and cook for another 30 seconds. Repeat with the remaining batter. The crepes should come out very thin.
  3. Serve crepes warm with toppings of your choice. Enjoy immediately!
