Caramel Banana Crumble

This caramel banana crumble is so delicious it really doesn’t matter whether you have it for breakfast or for dessert or even both.

Ingredients

  • 180 grams dairy-free unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons raw brown sugar or to taste
  • 3 bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • pinch of salt
  • coconut yogurt, for serving
  • cranberry jam, for serving

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180C° and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a saucepan, melt 100 grams of the butter and brown sugar, stirring to combine. Place sliced bananas all over the bottom of the prepared baking dish and pour caramel mixture over the bananas.
  3. In a medium bowl mix flour, oats with a pinch of salt together, then rub in the remaining butter with your fingers until you have a crumbly mixture. Sprinkle the mixture over the bananas. Bake for 25 minutes or until crisp and golden-brown. Serve with coconut yogurt and cranberry jam if desired. Enjoy!
