Vegan French Toast

A quick and delicious breakfast. Learn how to make a perfect vegan french toast with golden crisp buttery edges.

  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon rice syrup
  • 1-2 tablespoons dairy-free butter or spread
  • 6-8 slices of bread
  • fresh fruit and berries, for serving


  1. In a medium bowl whisk both milks, cinnamon, vanilla, corn starch and rice syrup together. Melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Dip each bread slice into the mixture, coating well on each side. Place bread slices into a pan and cook until browned on the bottom. Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes. Repeat for all bread slices. Serve with fresh fruit and berries, syrup or any toppings of your choice. Enjoy!
