1/2 cup almond milk
1/4 cup coconut milk
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon rice syrup
1-2 tablespoons dairy-free butter or spread
6-8 slices of bread
fresh fruit and berries, for serving
In a medium bowl whisk both milks, cinnamon, vanilla, corn starch and rice syrup together. Melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Dip each bread slice into the mixture, coating well on each side. Place bread slices into a pan and cook until browned on the bottom. Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes. Repeat for all bread slices. Serve with fresh fruit and berries, syrup or any toppings of your choice. Enjoy!
