Baked Super Green Falafel Burgers

Have you ever tried green falafel? Add some more vegetables in your diet by making these easy green falafel burgers. You can shape them into a regular falafel balls and fry or bake or flatten them into a burger patties.

  • 200 g organic canned chickpeas
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 2 tablespoons chickpea flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 cup chopped parsley
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup chopped kale
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • salt and pepper, to taste


  1. Preheat oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper. Place all the ingredients into a blender and process until smooth. Add more flour or oil if needed.
  2. Form the mixture into burger patties and arrange on the baking tray. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown on top. Enjoy as it is or add to your veggie burger.
