Red Pepper and Cauliflower Smoky Vegan Fritters

These smoky vegan fritters are made with cauliflower and red pepper will make a great addition to any veggie burgers or they are just as tasty to enjoy on their own.

  • 1/2 head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1 red pepper, chopped
  • 1 carrot, roughly chopped
  • 1 small bunch fresh chives, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons chickpea flour
  • 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, for frying


  1. Place all the ingredients into a food processor. Pulse until the mixture comes together and forms a sticky paste.
  2. In a frying pan heat olive oil over medium heat. Form fritters with your hands and fry for about 5 minutes on both sides until golden brown and cooked through. Serve immediately and enjoy!
