Cabbage and Mushroom Pasta Alternative

Super easy recipe using just 3 ingredients for a low-carb pasta alternative. Healthy and delicious meal.

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 white cabbage, thinly diced
  • 2 carrots, grated
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dry basil
  • salt and pepper, to taste


  1. In a large pot heat olive oil over medium heat and add all the ingredients, mix to combine. Cover the pot and reduce the heat to low. Cook for about 20 minutes or until cabbage is tender, adding 1/2 cup of water halfway through. Serve warm and enjoy!
