Baked Sweet Potato Balls

Ingredients

  • 2 medium sweet potatoes, cooked, mushed
  • 1 cup green peas
  • 1 cup cooked chickpeas
  • 3 tablespoons almond meal
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • sesame seeds, for coating
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C and line baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl combine all the ingredients together. Working with your hands form into balls. Roll the balls in sesame seeds. Pop them in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden.
  3. Serve with baked carrot chips, spinach and humus. Enjoy.
