BBQ Cauliflower Bites

  • 1 head cauliflower, cut into bite size florets
  • For the BBQ Sauce:
  • 3/4 cup tomato sauce or purée
  • 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons molasses
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 2 tablespoons liquid smoke
  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. Add all the sauce ingredients to a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and reduce heat to low. Cover with a lid and simmer for 7 minutes. Let cool to room temperature.
  2. Preheat oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper. Toss cauliflower florets with sauce in a mixing bowl and arrange them on the prepared baking tray. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until crispy brown and tender. Serve warm garnished with fresh parsley and your favourite dipping sauce. Enjoy right away.
