Vegan Date and Matcha Bliss Balls

Bliss balls are my favourite homemade snack or a healthy sweet treat. It takes 10 minutes to make them and you can add any ingredients of your choice. I made these vegan date and matcha bliss balls with rolled oats and smooth peanut butter.

Prep Time: 20 mins
Cook Time: none
Makes : 12

  • 1 cup dates, soaked in warm water for 10 minutes
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoons smooth peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon flax seeds
  • 1 tablespoon desiccated coconut
  • 1 tablespoon sunflower seeds
  • 1 tablespoon rice syrup
  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder
  • 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil

  1. Drain dates and place into a food processor with the rest of the ingredients. Pulse for 2-3 minutes until the mixture comes together and forms a sticky paste, adding more melted coconut oil if needed.
  2. Roll about 2 tablespoons of the mixture into balls. Roll in additional desiccated coconut and matcha powder to coat. Refrigerate for 30 minutes and enjoy.
